Okara Ward Here I come

The local government elections will be held in October.
My name is Nicholas Connop and I want to represent you in the Okara ward on the Whangarei District Council.

I pledge to bring Community, Communication and Connectivity with me to Council. The stars have aligned, and it is the right time to do what I can for our wonderful city.

Matariki, the Māori New Year is a time to gather with family and friends, to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and plan for the future.
Tonight, the full moon is rising which is a time for starting something new.
This week also happens to be National Volunteer Week 2019, with the theme of “Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together”.
Volunteering, Mahi Aroha and social action weave people and communities together. This is my kaupapa.

We need to stand together in our differences and choose to connect. Let's, together, make Whangarei an even brighter place to call home.
